Donna Robinson
Hi, my name is Donna, I have two beautiful children; Kieron who is 6 years old and Jessica who is 5 years old.
I have lived on the Wirral for most of my life, apart from a few years spent working in Scotland and the Cotswolds.
Previous to joining fruit to suit I had spent most of my career working in financial services, advising on mortgages and related insurance products to clients from all walks of life. I have also spent the last two years working with children in playgroup organisations and schools.
The reason why I chose fruit to suit
As a mother, the work life balance with a family is one of the hardest tasks I have ever had to handle! The franchise offered me the opportunity to work for myself, have the time with the children in school holidays and not worry about who will look after them if they are ill on a weekday!!
One of the other reasons, and there are many, is the fantastic range of healthy snacks on offer to my family and friends. I love working with children and, with the healthy tuck shops, they learn invaluable business and enterprise skills for life, eat healthily and help raise needy funds for their schools or chosen charity.
This successful business is very worthwhile, everyone benefits and the children make all the difference to what we do. It is very much needed to increase the opportunity for children to try alternative, nutritional, healthy snacks.
